One of my first memories of an elegant fur coat was with my Mother as she left for the Barrister Ball.  I’ll never forget the sound of Motown playing in the background as she was getting dressed for the evening and everything came together very elegantly.  I can still see her downing her gorgeous full length mink coat just before she steps out of the door with my father for the evening.

My mother once proclaimed that every woman in our family should have a mink coat. Of course that was her era. Besides the Balls, the weddings and other events there was church.  I also remember our First Lady wearing her fur coat on chilly Sunday mornings.These are all such great memories for me. I now want to honor my Mother and that era by providing access to luxury furs in a more affordable and sustainable way.
